A wedding in Sapa, Vietnam? Couple, Jayme and Chelsea, celebrated their union at the exquisite Hotel de la Coupole, a stunning destination set against Sapa’s misty mountains that blend French haute couture and vibrant hill tribe influences. The day’s events unfolded in a series of magical moments that honored both the couple’s unique styles and the rich cultural tapestry of Vietnam.
The festivities kicked off with a welcome party the evening before at Le Grand Bassin, the hotel’s stunning indoor pool, where guests were invited to unwind with live music by DJ Toons and bespoke cocktails.

As dawn broke the next day, a dreamlike fog rolled gently over the mountains, casting a mystical veil over the venue. The ceremony unfolded in a yellow-tiled courtyard bursting with local and exotic burgundy blooms. The notes of Ryann Darling’s “I Choose You,” played by a string quartet, echoed through the courtyard as the bride walked down the aisle towards her groom. Chelsea was radiant in a custom ivory-and-blush ombre gown by Atelier Julianne Syjuco, while Jayme looked dashing in a gray tailored suit by JE&Co.
Amidst laughter and tears of joy, the couple exchanged heartfelt vows, sealing their love in a moment filled with emotion.
Following the ceremony, guests were treated to cocktails on an outdoor terrace, where the sounds of music floated gently through the air. The celebration continued with a six-course banquet that combined international flavors with a delightful Vietnamese twist, highlighting the region’s rich culinary heritage.

The evening was filled with laughter as friends and family shared touching speeches, and familiar games brought everyone closer together. Chelsea and Jayme shared their first dance as a married couple to the tune of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” – the same song that played when Jayme proposed to Chelsea in New York. A same-day video edit beautifully captured the day’s events, allowing guests to relive the magic as they gathered around to watch.
As dinner concluded, the wedding party transitioned to the hotel’s rooftop bar, Absinthe, where DJ Toons ignited an exhilarating rhythm that had everyone dancing the night away.
