In waist-deep floodwaters, Atty. Leni Robredo participated in relief operations on Thursday, October 24, as Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (international name: Trami) struck Naga City and many other areas of the country.
Volunteers, including the former vice president of the Philippines, were captured handing out relief goods to Naga City residents in photos by Egine Oquindo Baral shared by non-government organization Kaya Natin! Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership.
Meanwhile, Atty. Leni Robredo officially closed Angat Buhay and Kaya Natin! Movement’s #BangonNAGA donation drive in a more recent Facebook post. “MARAMING SALAMAT PO,” Atty. Leni Robredo expressed.

“These figures are not final,” Atty. Leni Robredo clarified, “as Kaya Natin and JMRF wait for donations made via check deposits to be cleared on the next banking day.”
Leni Robredo reassured. “Thank you po sa inyong lahat! “
