Former One Direction member Liam Payne has passed away at the age of 31.

According to several reports, he died on October 17 (Philippine time) after falling from the third floor of his hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The authorities stated that he suffered from “very serious injuries incompatible with life as a result of his fall.”
Reports added that before the incident, the police received a 911 call about an “aggressive man who was possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol” at 5:04 PM (2004 GMT). They arrived seven minutes later, and Liam Payne’s identity was confirmed after verifying his death.
The authorities emphasized that it is still unclear whether the incident was accidental or intentional.
Liam Payne rose to fame in 2010 as a member of One Direction, composed of Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson. In 2016, the boy band sensation announced their indefinite hiatus, allowing each member to pursue their own solo careers.
He debuted his solo album “First Time” in 2017. His popular tracks include “Strip That Down,” “Stack It Up,” and “For You.”
