Vina Morales and her non-showbiz American boyfriend, Andrew Kovalcin, have parted ways. The Filipina actress and singer confirmed their split in a recent interview with the press, revealing that their relationship didn’t work out.

“Wala na kami (We’re not together anymore). I’m back to being single, ready to mingle,” she said. According to Inquirer.net, Vina shared that they broke up three months ago.
“It just so happened that things didn’t work out. It’s also hard when you’re with somebody who’s far away. Yung LDR na ganyan, it won’t work—I’m talking about myself,” she told the press.
However, the actress-singer clarified that being in a relationship is not her priority at the moment, emphasizing that she’s happy.
Vina and Andrew started dating in 2022. In an interview in 2023, she disclosed that they first met 21 years ago in Hawaii, and reunited during her 2022 Miami concert. She shared a daughter with her former partner, Cedric Lee.
Dubbed “Ultimate Performer,” Vina appeared in numerous movies and shows and released 14 studio albums throughout her 35-year career. She is set to hold a concert in Manila this November.
