The New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC) stated that renovation of the airport’s oldest and smallest passenger terminal will commence on November 6, 2024, “to address its aging infrastructure and improve overall passenger experience.” It is expected to reopen in February 2025.

With that, all airlines operating in Terminal 4 will be transferred to Terminal 2. Cebgo and AirSWIFT have already announced the transfer of their flights to Terminal 2.

According to Cebu Pacific, domestic flights operated by its low-cost subsidiary, Cebgo, to and from Manila will be relocated to Terminal 2 starting November 7. It includes flights to Coron, Naga, Masbate, San Jose, Siargao, Surigao, Boracay, Cebu, and Legazpi.

“Cebu Pacific continues to work closely with the New NAIA Infrastructure Corp. and relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for our guests,” the airline noted.

Meanwhile, its boutique airline AirSWIFT, will also move to Terminal 2 beginning November 5. The airline reiterated that passengers will receive their revised e-tickets, reflecting the terminal change.

NNIC also advised passengers to check with their respective airlines for their updated flight schedules.

The private operator led by San Miguel Corporation and Incheon International Airport took over NAIA in September. They plan to build a new terminal and other facilities to increase the airport’s capacity from 35 million to 62 million passengers.
