Karpos Live welcomes yet another electrifying artist to its 2024 roster, and this time, they’re bringing Iranian Swedish-born, Los Angeles-based artist, Snoh Aalgera.
“Golden toned,” “jazz-infused,” and “expansive and dreamy” were the exact phrases Pitchfork used to describe multi-GRAMMY nominated and Swedish Grammis winner Snoh Aalgera for her overall music style, as well as her captivating vocals on her latest album TEMPORARY HIGHS IN THE VIOLET SKIES (2021).

However, her being labeled a musical genius does not end there. Three years before he passed, Prince, who needs no introduction, took her under his wing to help her cultivate the sound that she proudly shares with her fans now. Alongside Prince, some of her influences include Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Mariah Carey, and so many more, and these inspirations seep through her work with songs like ‘I Want You Around” that encapsulates the main energy of her musical image; “Be My Summer” which can only be described as the orange skies of an early summer sunset; and “Nothing Burns Like The Cold” that will have you off your feet just by hearing the bouncy intro.
