Sarah Lahbati revealed that she and her husband, Richard Gutierrez, are co-parenting for their children Zion and Kai despite not being on speaking terms. In an interview with Frontline Pilipinas, the celebrity mom opened up about their co-parenting setup.
“It’s not easy on any child, but I’m here for them, and they’re better,” she said. “Of course, it’s not ideal for the children—let’s go back to the kids. But that’s life. They’ll be fine.”
Sarah admitted that she and Richard are currently not on speaking terms and emphasized that they strive to be present for their kids. However, she remained mum about their rumored breakup.

She added, “We’re good at parenting. We are there for the kids. That’s all I’m gonna say.”
The actress also addressed how she deals with negative comments, “We have to take things lightly or else puputi buhok natin at hindi tayo magiging happy.”
She even mentioned that she finds it funny when netizens call her “Patron Saint of Waldas,” referencing the remarks made by her mother-in-law, Annabelle Rama, in December 2023.
“Natutuwa ako sa lahat ng mga tumatawag sa akin ng Patron Saint of Waldas. As in natatawa ako. Every day may comment about it, so sinakyan ko nang konti.”
She continued, “In reality, I’m very proud to say that I’m good at saving. I’m good at finances.”
The 30-year-old reiterated that she’s working hard to provide for her children, herself, and her parents. This January, she gave a glimpse of her new house.
Sarah and Richard tied the knot in 2020. They got surrounded by breakup rumors in 2023 after eagle-eyed netizens noticed that they were not posting photos of them together and spent occasions separately with their children. Since then, the two didn’t directly address the status of their relationship.
