The Worst of Evil is one of the KDramas we are uber excited about because we’ll finally get to see Ji Chang-wook again! While we have seen him in musical The Sound of Magic last year and in the hella entertaining Young Actors’ Retreat, there’s just something about a serious Chang-wook that we can’t get enough of – and this one looks really serious.

The Worst of Evil Plot
In The Worst of Evil, a potent new recreational drug called Gangnam Crystal begins spreading throughout the liveliest venues of 1990’s Seoul. The drug is pushed by a former DJ (Wi Ha-joon) who seized control of a gang, and an undercover officer (Ji Chang-wook) will attempt to infiltrate the said gang to bring the drug down from the inside.
Forced to keep his new assignment a secret from everyone, officer Park Jun-mo is stunned to discover his wife and fellow officer Yu Euijeong (Lim Se-mi) has volunteered for the same assignment and that she has a mysterious past with the city’s new drug lord. Torn between his dedication to his job and his need to keep his wife safe, Junmo’s actions is sure to keep us all on the edge of our seats. We are so excited!
This thrilling new crime drama The Worst of Evil will start streaming on September 27, 2023 – exclusively on Disney+.
It will be a 12-episode series with a 3-episode premiere, 2 episodes released every week, and a 3-episode finale.
