Billie Eilish was only 14 years old when she uploaded “Ocean Eyes” to SoundCloud in 2016 which had gone viral on the streaming platform and kicked off her singing and songwriting career. In the following year, she dropped her first EP, “Don’t Smile At Me” and the Netflix series “13 Reasons Why” picked up her song “Bored”.

At age 17, she released her first album “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” which includes “Bad Guy”–her first song that hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Now, the teenage pop star is 19 years old and has already won 7 Grammy awards.

Throughout the years, we have gotten used to her signature oversized hoodies, baggy pants, and iconic green and black hair. However, Eilish surprised us all with her photo on the cover of British Vogue. The fashion magazine called it her new “blonde bombshell” look.

According to Vogue’s cover story written by Laura Snapes, “it took four dye sessions to erase the signature jet black and lurid green she’s worn for 18 months … She was ‘ready for it to suck’, but it’s been transformative. ‘I feel more like a woman somehow,’ she says, surprised.”
