Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo just stunned fans and followers with her gorgeous new gown inspired by the national flag, as seen in the Instagram post of beauty camp Aces and Queens.
“Lalaban para sa Pilipinas (Will fight for the Philippines),” the account wrote on the caption of the photo of Rabiya on Monday, April 26. The glamorous shot was taken by Los Angeles-based photographer Filbert Kung.

The gown was designed by Kirsten Regalado, who explained her creation which she called the “Sunrise Gown” in her own Instagram post. “[The] ‘V’ design is symbolic for Victory. [It features the] #beautiful colors of our Philippine Flag. The reliability and tranquility of blue combined with the energy, confidence, and courage of red [define] a modern Filipina,” she said.
Rabiya is currently staying in Florida, United States to prepare for next month’s Miss Universe pageant and hopefully be the fifth Filipina beauty queen to win the coveted crown.
