Though it may have come as a surprise for most of us that Meryll Soriano and Joem Bascon now share a child after officially rekindling their romance and getting back together, the 38-year-old actress revealed that their baby was actually “planned.”
In an Instagram post, Meryll shared photos of herself and Joem looking happy while sitting on the staircase as she wrote, “When we found out we were parents after planning and trying. Voilà! What a happy day.”
The couple went public with their relationship on New Year’s Day and also introduced friends and fans to their newborn baby boy. Meryll has since openly shared photos of their baby as well as their sweet moments as a couple.

Rumors that Meryll and Joem got back together began last January 2020 when Joem was spotted in a picture with Meryll’s family, a month after Joem confirmed he and his former partner Crisha Uy broke up.
The two reunited on set for the film Culion and for their television show Starla back in 2019.
