[“Because of the extension of the quarantine, there are many who are struggling, and many who continue to risk their lives to care for and be of service to our country. A little help will go a long way for them.”]
Cruz added that their goal is to “provide hygiene kits and groceries for 15,000 youths and their families, and PPEs, masks, alcohols (hopefully sanitizing tents) for our frontline healthcare workers at around 15 hospitals with such needs.”
So far, they have raised and distributed more than a thousand food packs, supplies, and other necessities to health workers and other frontliners such as police officers and volunteers.
With the extension of the quarantine to April 30, the actors have also extended their fundraising to the end of the month so they can “broaden the help and reach more people who are deeply affected by this pandemic.”
