Any first class seat price would cost an average person, especially in the Philippines, a fortune.
One passenger named April Easterwood Thornton was on a flight on the way to Newark, New Jersey coming from Atlanta, Georgia, when she saw something you would not usually see when you’re on a plane ride.
On the way to her seat, as she dragged her luggage through the first class cabin, a little, cute face looked up at her and no, it was not a baby. It was an adorable Cocker Spaniel.
Now, any passenger like Thornton would have expected to see probably service dogs on a plane. But as seen in the picture,ย this prestigious pup was sitting on a first class seat all snuggled up in a comfortable blanket. The dog was enjoying so much luxury that comes in a first class seat with a big space for leg room.
As Thornton made her way to the economy, the dog was fixated on following her as she walked on the aisle. “Felt a little judged walking past this gal,” sheย noted on Facebook. โI noticed the pup right away because she was sprawled out in her very own seat which happened to be the first one on the plane!โ Thornton reportedly told The Dodo. โI was amazed that she has her own seat. I hadnโt seen that before.โ
She also shares her disappointment with not being able to notย sit closerย to the dog. She did observe that pooch was โvery well behavedโ for the whole period of the flight. โShe looked like it was not her first time being there as well,โ Thornton said. โVery comfy in her seat up front.โ
As expected, Thornton presumes this first-class dog must have a special place in the owner’s heart that granted the pup its very own seat on a plane.
While picking up her luggage, Thorton has discovered how far the pupโs owner would go to show his love. By the baggage carousel, Thornton saw the owner’s custom suitcase cover with his pupโs face once more.
โI bumped into the owner again at baggage claim and noticed his suitcase right away,โ Thornton said. โHe claimed it with pride,โ she added. As she owns aย dog as well, Thornton can comprehend why the owner has decided to spoil the good boy or girl since her own dog adds enjoyment to her life too.
She believes that all dogs actually deserve to fly in first class. โEspecially mine,โ she said.
