Someone decided to add color to these vintage photos of the Philippines in the past and they are BREATHTAKING.
Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to live in the past?
You’re not alone. After all, when we think of the past, images ofย grainy, black-and-white / sepia-toned sceneries come to mind, a faded and distant memory of what was once there. Well, the fabulous work done by history page Kinulayang Kasaysayanย on Facebook brings us the CLOSEST we can get to time travel: adding color to old photos of the Philippines!
The man behind the page, Mr. E.S. Sison, shared with When In Manila that he has been coloring old photos of Manila and other parts of the country for two years now through Photoshop, just as a hobby. Eventually he decided to put up his own page, Kinulayang Kasaysayan, in order to share the lovely work he has done with netizens.
Old, grayscale photographs of vintage Philippines have been circulating online for some time now, and while those can be captivating enough, seeing them in color really make the past come to life, almost as if you can actually live in them!

“Old” Philippines looks so much better than present Philippines.
Life was hard but it was so much better then, I think.
What I Love in the photos the most is that they can be remade for whatever we want. Even a picture of an old men can be transformed into an real alien! You can see how it can be done here
