3. Where to get specialty crafted cocktails?
If you’re in the mood for some dimly lit prohibition atmosphere with 1920’s movies playing on the screen, the smell of cinnamon and lime arouse your senses, beautiful interiors and a really good cocktail, go to Hooch by Lulu.
Located at the same strip as Toby’s Estate just a few steps away is this bar that has excellent service and bartenders who know the difference of “I’m heartbroken give me Whiskey” to “I’m happy give me Whiskey”–absolutely nothing.
We recommend you try their Salcedo Ave, Dark & Stormy, Moscow Mule, Amaretto Sour. They also have local craft beers on tap. Whatever you’re in the mood for. Whether you’re on a first date or drink with friends or even alone, the bartender can whip something up for you to suit your needs and nurse your pain.
If you’re up for some bar chow you have to try their Kinilaw (my personal favorite) it’s how you imagine Kinilaw to be. Vinegar-cured Tuna and Tanigue but at Hooch they serve it with fresh caviar on top!
This is their European Cheese and Charcutterie Platter. Perfect for some wine of choice or even your single malts. The cheese and cold cut meat were all fresh and distinct in flavor.
