71 floors up with the spectacular view of Manila’s busy Thursday skyline at 71 Gramercy, the most prominent names of the Philippines’ creative, fashion, media and entertainment industries all gathered together recently to celebrate the launch of the At East | Jed Root office here in Manila.

Founded in 1989, Jed Root, Inc., the world’s premier agency of esteemed photographers, stylists, make-up artists, hair stylists and fashion filmmakers, recently launched At East | Jed Root in March 2014, a first of its kind in Southeast Asia. It will join a network that is comprised of offices located in New York, London, Paris, Los Angeles, and Tokyo.

“By establishing our presence in Manila, we will be working with clients and talents in various key cities like Singapore, Jakarta, and also tapping into the demand from Hong Kong and China,” Jed Root states. With the intention of promoting creative Asian talent globally, Jed Root is keen on yielding a bridge between the East and the West. With its vast outpour of creative talent and its evident and “robust economic revival”, the first outpost of New York’s top creative agency has arrived in the Philippines and is staying here for good since “there is much untapped talent to explore here.”

The drinks displayed Ketel One vodka’s first-class quality, excellent craftsmanship and rich heritage – much like the creative work that Jed Root, Inc. has been showcasing internationally and will continue exhibiting through the works of the 21 handpicked talents in the agency’s first Philippine roster.

Jed Root, Inc. has been the brainchild for the world’s most prominent figures in the creative industry, namely fashion photographers Michael Thompson, ‘The Sartorialist’ Scott Schuman and makeup artist Laura Mercier to name a few. Additionally, At East, Inc. was founded by a number of investors and CEO’s in varying industries with the common goal of showcasing and advocating creative Filipino talents internationally.
