Aside from having a great place to stay, people might be wondering what else is in store for them in Cabanatuan City. Of course, there are many other places to see (and we’ll be checking them out soon, too!); but for now, here are 7 places you can check out!
7 Places to Check out at Cabanatuan City
7. HAPAG VICENTICOS
ย
Craving for Filipino food in an authentically Filipino setting? Hapag Vicenticos is definitely the place to be! Here’s a sneak preview of what the place looks like:
ย
Also, their Crispy Pata is absolutely perfect! It’s one of the best I’ve tasted. Here’s their Crispy Pata for you:
ย
Hapag Vicenticos is only around five minutes away from Harvest Hotel, so if you’re looking for an immediate food trip without having to venture too far from Cabanatuan’s best hotel, Hapag Vicenticos is definitely the place for you!

6. FORT MAGSAYSAY / AQUINO-DIOKNO MEMORIAL
ย
For the young ones, you must have heard from your history lessons that Ninoy Aquino and Pepe Diokno spent 3 weeks of isolation in a small room. Well, you can find that small room at Fort Magsaysay, specifically at the Aquino-Diokno Memorial.ย
ย
ย
The tour begins with an 18-minute documentary about what Ninoy Aquino and Pepe Diokno went through in the detention center. Viewing the documentary is necessary in order to fully understand what happened there, by the way.ย
ย
ย
After getting the feel of things, we were led to the actual rooms of Pepe Diokno and Ninoy Aquino where their wax figures were along with restored items of what was inside their rooms during that time. Also, White Christmas is playing in the background because, back then, Aquino and Diokno had no choice but to endure hearing the song non-stop 24/7.ย
ย
ย
Lastly, there is an exhibit which showcases the stories and some of the relevant items during the Martial Law. You can also read about your rights as a person! Everything can be found in this exhibit.
