Have you ever been to Hong Kong Disneyland in the summer? 5. The Pixar Water Play Street Party
You’ve probably heard about the Pixar Water Play Street Party last year. Well, HK Disneyland promises an upgraded water splashing street party this time around. That’s right. This year is going to be even more fun and colorful with two new floats, the Toy Story Float and the Nemo Float.
And because Toy Story 4 will be hitting the big screen soon, Bo Peep and a new character Forky will be joining the party! Along with over 40 performers, you will also get to meet Mr. and Mrs. Incredible from The Incredibles; Joy and Sadness from Inside Out; Carl, Russell, and Dug from Up; and more. Prepare to get wet as the party will involve splashing and spraying water under the hot summer weather.
4. More Disney-Pixar characters
Aside from the grand street party, more Disney-Pixar characters will be appearing at the park. Get your cameras ready for a souvenir photo with Bo Peep, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, Frozone, and Edna Mode from The Incredibles.
I’ve already been to HK Disneyland twice, and I’ve met different characters during these visits. I’ve seen Ralph and Vanellope from Wreck It Ralph, Moana, and Russell from Up. They can show up anywhere, so pay attention! Hot tip: Use the Disneyland App to know these characters’ whereabouts around the park and what their schedules are like.

There will be over 40 summer dining options available across HK Disneyland this summer, including the three hotels in Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, with photo-worthy foods made refreshing for the hot summer weather.

2. The Cutest Summer Disney Merchandise
Another thing to get excited about? HK Disneyland’s summer merchandise collection. Get at least one or two of over 280 seasonal souvenir items that will only be available this summer. There will be a lot of gifts in line with the upcoming movie Toy Story 4, as well as HK Disneyland 14th Anniversary collection, Mickey and Friends, Duffy & Friends, and more. We heard that there will also be items from Spider-man: Far from Home and The Lion King! Both movies will also be hitting cinemas soon!
1. Disneyland Hotel’s Themed Rooms
The hotel/resorts in Disneyland aren’t just for sleeping in after a long day at the park. There will also be a lot of events happening, such as a bubble play party, and summer arts and crafts activities where kids can make their own Disney-themed artworks. These activities are only available for a limited time, though, so catch them while they last!
