In case you were living under a rock and have not heard the news, Khalid is finally bringing his American Teen tour to Manila this November.
The 20-year-old kid from El Paso who’s behind the highly relatable millennial anthem: Young Dumb & Broke, as well as other chart-topping tracks such as Location and Love Lies, will be performing at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on November 2. Ticket prices have already been released and tickets are now up for grabs via TicketNet.

This is the first song that I’ve heard from him and essentially, it’s the one that got me hooked. It’s about living life as a teenager and all the experiences that come with it. Listen to this if you want something upbeat and something that would make you look back at all the things you’ve done when you were a teen.

A classic break-up song if I may say, but Khalid gives it a bit of a twist through the beat that accompanies the lyrics. It talks about how the relationship went wrong and how in the end, they’re hurt by it

The song aims to show us that there’s still hope in life and that suicide should never be the answer. Obviously, the title’s an acronym for “On The Way” and the song talks about how Khalid would always be there for the people who are important to him. In it, he collaborates with Ty Dolla $ign and 6LACK.
