The 20-year-old kid from El Paso whoโ€™s behind the highly relatable millennial anthem: Young Dumb & Broke, as well as other chart-topping tracks such as Location and Love Lies, will be performing at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on November 2. Ticket prices have already been released and tickets are now up for grabs via TicketNet.

5 Songs to Listen to While Waiting for Khalid’s Concert in Manila

5. American Teen

5. American Teen

This is the first song that Iโ€™ve heard from him and essentially, itโ€™s the one that got me hooked. Itโ€™s about living life as a teenager and all the experiences that come with it. Listen to this if you want something upbeat and something that would make you look back at all the things youโ€™ve done when you were a teen.

4. Another Sad Love Song

A classic break-up song if I may say, but Khalid gives it a bit of a twist through the beat that accompanies the lyrics. It talks about how the relationship went wrong and how in the end, theyโ€™re hurt by it

In this collab with Logic and Alessia Cara, Khalid only sings in the end; but his lines are still memorable. The song aims to show us that thereโ€™s still hope in life and that suicide should never be the answer. The song title is actually the phone number of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline in the States.

2. 8TEEN

Oh, the firsts that take place when youโ€™re 18. Khalid talks about them in this song and they are actually pretty relatable. When you get older, youโ€™re gonna look back at all of those things and see how you did such crazy things when you were young (but at least you learned from them).

1. OTW

ย

Obviously, the titleโ€™s an acronym for โ€œOn The Wayโ€ and the song talks about how Khalid would always be there for the people who are important to him. In it, he collaborates with Ty Dolla $ign and 6LACK.

There you have it: 5 songs to keep you company until his arrival this November. Hereโ€™s to hoping that he performs all of them live and hoping to see you guys while you sing your hearts out at Araneta.
