Buzzing streets, fast-paced lifestyles, and extreme traffic is the definition of Metro Manila. City life has always been demanding of time, patience, and a lot of endurance. A lot of Pinoys work round the clock just to keep up with life in the city. Sometimes, we don’t even get a day of rest. So there will always come a time when you just want to escape such a hectic life, even for a moment.
You know, you just need a breather then you will go back to the ball game. It could be something like a road trip. Road trips can take away the stress and let you live in the moment for a while. You can have a good time with your friends, carpooling, getting food, even blasting sick beats in your car.
Here are 4 road trip places near Metro Manila:
Tagaytay
Who doesn’t love Tagaytay? Thanks to expressways, this place doesn’t seem so far off, you can enjoy the sight of Taal Volcano and Taal lake. Tagaytay lets you feel the cool breeze, it makes you feel like you’re breathing fresh air. Sometimes, breathing some fresh air is all you need to help you clear up your mind.
Subic, Zambales
You may also want to visit this place. It has some awesome beaches, good food and parks too. You can watch those cute dolphins, encounter wild animals, or just carefully drive around town since monkeys may just cross the street all of a sudden.
Antipolo, Rizal
If you want to go for a hike with your friends, road tripping to Rizal is the way to go. There are various mountains you can climb depending on your experience as a hiker. If you don’t want to go hiking, but wanted to appreciate art instead, perhaps visiting the famous Pinto Art Museum is for you.
Sta. Rosa, Laguna
Do you want some thrilling action? You can enjoy the thrilling rides and other activities in the amusement park in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. With various rides and amenities, they offer like Bump Cars, F1 Racing, Haunted House, Merry-go-round, Ferris Wheel, among others.
Your trip wouldn’t be complete with food and we are oh-so-happy that we can get our favorite Fried Chicken almost anywhere!
