23rd Phoenix Trans Sport Show: Driving Generations
Defined by its organizers as a general automotive show, the TRANS SPORT SHOW has since taken a new spin of “driving generations,” referring to a long line of car aficionados from all over the country created by the show itself. These “car crazy” look forward to either participating or attending TRANS SPORT SHOW every year in search of the latest conceptual execution or the best automotive restoration. The show fulfills every true-blooded car enthusiast’s fantasy. For over 22 years, it has always showcased the best in Filipino ingenuity and craftsmanship, which has gained recognition both locally and abroad. It can also be said that the TRANS SPORT SHOW has launched many an automotive icon—be it a car, a garage or a person—but have made it big in the automotive industry. This year’s show was presented by Phoenix Premium 98 – the new fuel product of Phoenix Petroleum Philippines.
Show Highlights
Special display of three automotive marques celebrating special anniversaries. To celebrate 100 years of Maserati, a first generation and third generation Ghibli were showcased side by side. The Giugiaro designed classic Ghibli (due for restoration) is the only one in existence here previously owned by renowned car collector Cresenciano de Castro and was displayed by Michel Motorsport .Its modern counterpart the 2014 Maserati Ghibli was officially launched by Autostrada Motore, Inc. Celebrating 100 years of Dodge, a modern and a classic Challenger was displayed together with a rare 1917 Dodge Phaeton all the way from Dagupan City. To complete the special display and in celebration of the marque’s 50th year, beautifully restored classic Mustangs were presented by Alex Car Restoration –Trans Sport Show’s Best of Show Hall of Famer . Two versions of the 1968 Mustang , one stock and one race-prepped were also be shown by Route 66, another Trans Sport Show Best of Show winner.
First Philippine-made Sports Car Prototypes Unveiled. These prototypes were built by a group of young, enterprising visionaries who set up FACTOR AURELIO AUTOMOBILE – the first Philippine sportscar automobile manufacturer. The craftsmen behind this company are KEVIN FACTOR & BRENDAN AURELIO. Kevin is a 21 year old Engineering Student of Adamson University, a prodigy and self taught designer while Brendan who owns Pacita Fibertech is the architect and builder of the prototype unit.

Manila Sports Car Club Racing Display promoted its Historic and Modern Sports Car Racing Series which included a Porsche GT2RS, a reproduction Lotus Seven (Michel 7) ,and the latest and much talked about 2014 Morgan 3-wheeler handbuilt in Great Britain side by side with the original 1933 Morgan Super Sports plus a collectible 1972 BMW CSL.

Launch of the ARTCar Show 2015 which is the newest competition/show under the umbrella of Trans Sport Show. The new show was conceived to encourage unrestricted creativity and artistic expression through vehicles be it a car, a bike or a truck. ARTCarFest endorsers are led by renowned sculptor and staunch proponent of art cars Mr. Ramon Orlina with his VW Beetle and renowned king of customs , Atoy Llave .
23rd Phoenix Trans Sport Show Cup Competition was participated in by leading auto restorers with their project vehicles . Winner for the Best of Show Contemporary was a 2000 Audi TT by JWorks Unlimited and the winner for the Best of Show Nostalgic was a 1965 Volkswagen Beetle restored by Aton Atilano. Reserved Best of Show winner was a 2010 Subaru WRX STi by Autoline Motorsports. The 2014 Miss Trans Sport Show is Miss Joycee Castro of Aikka Philippines.
RC Drift event called COALITION DRIFT- Division 110 was held in partnership with Ultra Racing Phils. And ENEOS .
Miniature show cars by DCPH- DieCast Collectors of the Philippines, Inc. and the IPMS Motor Modelers – (International Plastic Modelers Society).
Trans Sport Show is also committed to provide the visitors the latest trends in the car show scene from the current styling and performance enhancement craze to the latest aftermarket products and services to complete their show experience. There were trade and retail booths offering “show special” promotions as well as new product launches.
