For some college students, school is about to start again in a few days. School is often exhausting, hectic, and fulfilling at the same time. One of the things I enjoy about school is playing dress up. It’s a big difference to how I spent most of my break: being a hermit in pajamas, typing articles.
Once school resumes, there are days when I feel like I’ve lost control of everything. During those times, dressing up before going to school is the only way I feel like I’m still treating myself well. That I have at least one thing I could control, which is what I put on as I conquer (or get conquered) by the day’s hurdles. When I think I look put together, it really does give me a confidence boost.
Since school resumes in August, I’ve been browsing for cute school supplies again and doing some spring cleaning for my wardrobe. Instead of buying new clothes, I’m hoping to repurpose old clothes in my cabinet. Because of that, I’m browsing through fashion bloggers’ Instagram accounts to come up with new outfit equations.
Kim Jones is always a crowd favorite. She always looks so fresh and put-together–which is what I’d imagine many people would want to be described as even in the middle of finals week. One of the things I really like about Kim Jones as a prominent fashion figure is her versatility.
