Heaven gained another angel.
Chef Hasset or Hasset to his close friendsย succumbed to the disease, liver cancer yesterday, October 24, 2015. He was 29.
Chef was diagnosed with the said disease after his brother Rowden Go suffered fromย it last year. The good-looking yet humble Chef (as what most supportersย describe him) was truly an inspiration to everyone as he remained steadfast in his faith despiteย his condition.
Such a wonderful person.
In addition, Chef never failed to share his passion and expertise to aspiring bakers and pastry chefs at the Culinary Institute of Cagayan de Oro. According to his friends, he was a down-to-earth, humble, and faithful person.
In the word of his brother, Moi, Chef’s remains will be available for viewing tonight, October 25, 2015, at 7 PM at Room B, Nacional Memorial Homes, Araneta Ave, Quezon City.
Moi also posted on his Facebook account the following details:
Rest In Paradise, Chef Hasset.

A good friend, inspiration and sometimes, spiritual adviser. So sad for this news. =(
I am based in Sydney, Australia & Auckland, New Zealand, the mere fact I have a restaurant/Cakeshop in both places. I regularly chat with him in Facebook for advices in terms of baking issues, follow his advices & watch his post in sharing information in FB. I was lucky enough to see him in person last Dec 2013 in Eastwood City during a trade show.He did remembered me..we had a heart to heart talk. He told me he has relative in Melbourne & invited him to come over visit me in Sydney if he has the chance. He was an Unselfish Chef willing to share his knowledge & ideas. He will surely missed! Thank you for everything Chef.. May you Rest In Peace.

His cakes are excellent and never rotten even after a month of preserving it. Worth of money ang cake especially ung chocolate moist cake . Thanks Chef Hasset. You will no longer in pain.
I am a personal of Chef Hasset and he is even more inspiring up close . Seeing him go through this journey, I witnessed how his body slowly deteriorated but his spirit was stronger than ever til his final.breath. I have never met a man as resilient as him. The heavens welcomed him with the choirs of angels as our father in heaven uttered : “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
