I was a fan of the books under ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’.
When the movie starring Jim Carrey as Count Olaf came out, though, I wasn’t too impressed. For starters, Carrey looked nothing like the way I had pictured Count Olaf. Secondly, the humour was lost on me every now and then, and I felt like I had simply grown too old to appreciate Jim Carrey by then. Now, I know ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ are meant to be children’s books, but there are a lot of children’s movies out there nowadays that adults can equally love.
So, when these photos of Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf came out, I couldn’t help but smile. They got Count Olaf’s look spot on this time around.

It’s too bad the series is set to debut on nowhere else but Netflix later this year. Does that mean it’s time to download the app? I really hope it will be available in the Philippines!!!
