Initially set for opening on November, the first Chocolate Museum in the Philippines will open on December 19, 2016 at Malagos Garden Resort, Baguio District in Davao City.

The 230-square-meter museum will seat inside the Malagos Resort, near the chocolate factory.

Malagos Chocolate made the announcement on their Facebook Page.

On a report from SunStar Davao, Charisse Puentespina, the managing director of Malagos Resort, said that the Chocolate Museum will be an avenue to further promote their chocolate products. Moreover, it is expected to open more job opportunities.

At present, Malagos chocolate products are already making a name in the international scene. It received numerous international awards such as the 2016 Great Taste Award in United Kingdom, 2016 Academy of Chocolate Award, 2015 International Chocolate Award in Germany, and 2013 Asean Best Food Products Recognition Awards in Singapore.

Hopefully, the opening of the Chocolate Museum will help small-medium enterprises, Puentespina added.
