Mark Zuckerberg just announced the birth of his third daughter with his wife Dr. Priscilla Chan! The Facebook founder shared photos on social media where they posed with the newborn and wrote, “Welcome to the world, Aurelia Chan Zuckerberg! You’re such a little blessing.”

The META CEO first revealed his wife’s third pregnancy in September last year. Zuckerberg and Chan, who tied the knot in 2012, are also parents to five-year-old August and seven-year-old Maxima.
With this announcement, it has been speculated that Zuckerberg tied the names of his daughters to Roman history due to his fascination with it. The couple even spent their honeymoon in Rome!
In an earlier interview, he said “I think Augustus is one of the most fascinating. Basically, through a really harsh approach, he established two hundred years of world peace.” This might be the reason why their third daughter’s name seems to be derived from the emperor who reigned during the “Golden Age of the Roman empire”; while “Maxima” and “August” have been connected to the Latin name Maximus and the first Roman emperor Augustus Caesar respectively.
